Brett is currently a sworn police officer and departmental armorer with an active central Illinois police department. Brett is expert armorer and ammunition expert; and is qualified with numerous weapon systems, including the AR-15, M-16 platforms, 1911 government model pistols and Glock series pistols.

Prior to a career in Law Enforcement, Brett had 11 years experience in manufacturing.

Brett has a degree in machine tool technology, practical and classroom study of advanced metallurgy, extensive study in physics, chemistry, advanced mathematics, and manufacturing techniques.
