Carbine 1 - Course for Civilian Personnel

Carbine 1 is a 2 day course that introduces new or inexperienced shooters to the proper mindset required for using a weapon. Carbine 1 students receive instruction when deadly force is appropriate for personal defense and applicable state law. Course topics include weapons safety, weapon nomenclature, zeroing of iron sights and optics, weapon marksmanship fundamentals, loading/unloading fundamentals and instruction on how to resolve weapon malfunctions. Students will be introduced to various shooting positions.
