Shooter School Weapons Training Site understands the training needs for the female gun owner. The instructors at SSWTS will teach the female shooter how to safely use and maintain their firearms. This instruction will be presented to the female shooter in a safe, comfortable and enjoyable environment, where the instructors relate to you on a personal level.

Course Description

This is a 2-day course that will insure the female gun owner will be proficient in the use and handling of their firearms. Day one of this course will be spent in the classroom discussing firearms safety for the home, workplace, and vehicle. The instructors will also cover types of locks and techniques for your firearms to prevent unauthorized access, potential dangers of penetration, ricochets, misidentification, negligent discharges, and laws relating to the possession and transportation of your firearms. You will then be instructed on how to field strip and clean your firearm.

Day 2 will be spent on the range teaching the fundamentals of safe gun handling skills, presentation, sight alignment, loading/unloading, of semi-auto handguns and revolvers. This portion of the course will be taught using blue guns (safe guns) until the female shooter is comfortable with their firearm.

Class size: 6 min / 24 max.
