Tim Wittmer
Firearms Instructor

Tim has two years of experience with the Decatur Illinois Police Department.  Prior to joining DPD, Tim served as an infantry Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps.  During his six years of active duty, Tim completed four deployments, including two combat deployments to Fallujah, Iraq.  Tim currently serves as a member of the Decatur Police Department Emergency Response Team.  He is a department firearms instructor, AR-15 armorer, active shooter/rapid response instructor, and integrated scenario instructor.
